Calling All 6th Gen Accord F23 Gurus & Pros: Best Tricks for Auto Trans Removal & RMS
Hey Everyone,
I’m gearing up to pull the auto trans on my 01 Accord Sedan 2.3L(F23 motor) to replace the rear main seal. This will be my first time tackling a transmission pull on a 6th gen, and I’ll be working solo on jack stands in a small single car garage space.
I’ve already gone through old forum threads and watched a handful of videos, but I know nothing beats first-hand experience. For those of you who’ve been down this road, what are the tips, tricks, or hard-earned lessons you’d pass along? Anything that can save time, prevent headaches, or make the whole process smoother would be a huge help.
I’m looking forward to hearing from the veterans here and learning from your experience.
