Is it okay to use a Remanufactured Starter AC Delco for honda accord 2000?
Hello,
I found one in ebay and I wonder if it's gonna work fine or not?
I've never tried a remanufactured one.
if anyone tried one, I hope you can tell me if I should get it or not.
thank you.

Most starters/alternators are remanned.
Original parts use the highest quality parts and bearings.
Japanese bearings can last decades, the cheaper Chinese bearings can last a couple/few years.
Ac Delco is okay for remanned, I would not worry about buying it. I bought a couple of parts for an old s-10 Blazer that worked fine, but the motor went out a couple of years later, so I can't tell you long term usage longevity.Idk if any of the remanned use OEm or high quality parts. If it doesn't break in the first month, it should last a few years. If you want it to last for decades, you have to get the $$$ new or OEM.
Example: My stock Honda alternators (1986-1993) will last 300k+ miles with just replacing the external brushes once. A typical remanned alternator will last 30k miles before they have bearing issues due to the cheap Chinese parts. (not in all instances, but often enough)
Remanned is often better than it used to be back in the 1990's-20010 where 1 out of 3 parts didn't work when installed and you would have to take it back to the auto store the day you bought it. (1 in 3 in my personal experience).

I appreciate your help. thank you.
AC Delco isn't a bad brand. Go for a reman Denso unit if you can find one.
The skinny on remanned VS new;
Remanned units go through much more stringent testing. IE, they have to check every single piece and part. That means throughly testing electronics, and even making sure the cast cases are free of cracks and damage. Now, one or two units might squeeze through the cracks, but this is FAR less likely on remanned parts of higher/OEM quality (OEM manufactured parts being remanned).
On the flip side, "New" parts go through much, much less testing, as most of these companies assembling these units, automatically assume that new components mean good components, which is more often than not, not the case. Cheaper units consist of cheaper parts, and as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for".
This information was learned through experience, and numerous years inside the parts industry.
