hello,
has anyone ever rebuilt their automatic transmission for a 2001 Honda Civic? What kit or resources are best?
thanks,

Most just replace their stock tranny with a JDM one, it's the cheapest route. UNLESS you need one that can handle a serious high hp engine......

It's a complicated matter ,So if you're doing it yourself a manual would probably be best , If you have a shop rebuild it don't go cheap and they'd better know what they're doing . A crate one is the same . Make sure it's a good company . Once you put all the parts together one little spring , setting or gap done wrong can ruin it .
