Default D16z6 ect single wire gauge help

So the little plug for the etc gauge (the one that runs to the cluster on the dash) broke, like actually crumbled and wiring was dry rotted, I figured to just by pass this with a after market gauge but I can’t figure out the thread for the sensor ( the little nipple shaped one) I’ve tried Ai search but it gives me different answers every time I ask I believe it’s m10x1 and I was gonna just get an adapter to fit from 1/8 27npt (since most after market gauges are the size) to m10x1 but I’m not 100% that’s the thread, thanks much in advances for any and all help!

The single wire ECT sensor for the instrument cluster IS threaded 1/8" NPT. Why not just cut an OE plug from an original engine harness with say 6 inches of wire and graft it to your current engine harness... then plug it in to the original sensor.
