2002 accord timing belt won't start?
Ok i have a 2002 Honda Accord which we just did a timing belt, starter and water pump change on. Now we taking it apart 4 times and this time we are sure that we are on TDC and after setting TDC we would start the car and let it run which it ran fine. Then we put the covers on, started it, it ran fine. Put the pulley/power steering belt on and now it won't start? Any ideas? Like i said it'll start and run without the belt, put the pulley belt on and it won't start?
This sounds like an issue with the crank pulley or crank position sensor, since the engine runs fine until the power steering belt is installed.
The pulley may not be seated correctly on the keyway, or the belt could be pinching the sensor wiring behind it. If the crank sensor isn’t providing a proper signal, the ECU won’t let the engine start.
I’d recommend checking that the pulley is fully torqued, inspecting the wiring to make sure it isn’t rubbing or trapped, and confirming that the accessories spin freely.
That’s the most likely source of the problem.

Check to make sure the pump isnt seized and make sure the belt isn't too tight.
