Icon5 1990 Accord project

Hi!

I purchased my accord several years ago with the intent of giving it some well deserved love.

It's an Accord 2.0 EX 66kW of 1990 with just over 90k km. I live in Belgium and I would like to finally start this project together with my son (now 16yo). I have a variety of skills but to date, I have never really worked on cars so I recon I will need some guidance from forums like this.

This is the current state:

And a rough idea of the goal:

The hard part at this time seems to be to find the correct parts and have them shipped to Belgium. I need new headlights, front bumper and wheels. Autodoc does not seem to offer a lot.

Where can I get affordable parts for an older model like this?

Wow, I had never seen this model of Accord before.

Where to get parts? I have no idea.

From the rims and tail lights, it looks to be a 1989 Accord body.
This might help you find some parts for the car.

USA 1989 and older are single flip up headlights, not dual.
The headlights are nothing like USA headlights of a 1990 Accord.

That is a 3rd gen '86-'89 'CA' Accord for sure. Certain regions will sometimes register a vehicle as a given year when the car was initially sold and not based on the actual model year.
North America, Japan, Australia, NZ, and a couple other countries had the hidden headlights, which used a sealed beam bulb.
Everywhere else used the aerodynamic type headlight housings with a replaceable bulb.
Blue car Photoshop appears to be a CB Accord(89-93) not a CA(86-89)
CA(86-89) looks similar to the CB but these cars are different. A CB 89-93 Accord is more related to the 94-97 Accords.
