Default 2000 Accord SE converted to 5 speed manual

I have successfully converted my Accord to manual transmission and vehicle is running fine and driving however, I got my PCM out of a’99 Accord and there are a few differences between 1999 and 2000 to 2002 PCM’s. ie: temperature gauge on a 1999 feeds directly from the single wire sensor directly to the gauge while on the 2000, a 2 wire sensor feeds through the manual PCM.
I’d like to get the correct PCM for a manual transmission 2000 to 2002 Accord ; does anyone know what the specific part number for that model PCM is?

Not sure we are gonna have an answer for you, as the SE doesn't appear to have come in a manual for the 2000-2002 model years. They were all AT cars in the SE trim. Also there were differences with California, Canada and Federal emissions, and further, some had immobilizers.

I'd advise going to car-part(dot)com and doing some research to figure out what may or may not work for you.

If anyone has any further information on the matter, they'll chime in.

Go to any Honda parts website and look up a manual trans 00-02 Accord. It will list the original part numbers. Use that as a cross reference.

Found this in my research for an ODB1 swap ECU I'll need in the future for my 95.

Honda ECU part numbers are a series of 3 alphanumeric sections.
FORMAT: xxxxx-xxx-xxx
  • The first block is the Honda part number denoting it is an ECU. This is almost always 37820.
  • The middle 3 digits are the main identifier of the ECU and used in the table above, first column, ECU Code. This code is often associated with the engine or car. for example, a PR3 ECU often has an engine with a PR3 headstamp.
  • The Last 3 characters denote the ECU Revision type and each character is a different indicator.
    • The first character indicates market the ECU is intended to support.
      • A - USA
      • C - Canada
      • G - Europe
      • J - Japan
    • The second digit denotes transmission type
      • 0 - Manual
      • 5,7,9 - Automatic
    • The last character indicates the version number and generally does not have any significant changes to connectivity or function. Additional revisions may exist on the ROM inside, which will be indicated on the chip itself.

From - hondaswap(dot)com/threads/honda-ecu-list.29129 Obviously replace the (dot) with a period.

Hopefully that'll get you somewhere in decoding ECM/PCM codes.

Or do what MadMike suggested.
