Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
I'm trying to identify this ECU.
I purchased a car that supposedly has a JDM spec D16ZC engine and 5sp trasmission.
It idles and drives rough and has an engine light on.
From What I have read, in OLD forums this ECU might be for an automatic and can possibly ruin the engine.
Just want to make it drive good and not sure where to go from here.
Should I just buy an aftermarket ECU....Haltech/speeduino?
For now if someone can help me ID this ECU maybe its ok and im reading things wrong,any info at this point would be a great step forward.
Not sure if this setup would be considered an OBD0 or OBD1 system either, how could I tell ?
I also noticed I dont have a resistor box for the Injectors....
any help would be apreciated.
all these questions arise from hours of trying to gather info on youtube, facebook groups and reddit...
