Okay, long story short. I have a '96 Accord LX with a 2.2L which runs great. I had an AC leak which was in my evaporator so I replaced it. The system worked great with 45F air coming from my center vents. I got a little paranoid of my compressor going bad some day since I have no idea how old it was so I decided to change it. I bought a new compressor which stated it came pre-filled with 160ml of oil. I made a huge mistake and I didn't drain my old compressor to see how much I needed to balance the oil level with my new one. I didn't do this because I didn't know about the whole oil balancing thing. I installed the new compressor and my system worked okay but the temps wouldn't go below 60F. My researched showed thats probably because my system had way too much oil.
So I decided to start over. But this time I took the entire system down. I took out my evap core and I flushed it. I also flushed all my hoses and hard lines. I then bought a new drier and a condenser. My research shows my system holds 5.5 ounces of oil. I have this information that shows oil levels of each part of my system. So I drained my new compressor and I filled it with 155ml. I then added approx 25ml to my evap core but I didn't put any oil in the condenser or the drier. I didn't do this because I didn't want to run the risk of having too much oil again.
My question is this. Do you guys/gals think my system will be okay with what little oil I put in my evap core and the 155ml I put back in my compressor without me not adding any oil to the drier or the condenser? My system capacity is 5.5 ounces which is roughly 160ml so I'm thinking I should be okay.
I haven't added any freon to the system because I wanted to ask for an opinion(s) here first.
