They are local to me but do ship and have a great selection. 👍

I know a guy who just purchased a L15B7 (10G Civic) engine from them (JDM Engine Pro in La Hambra, CA)... it turns out that it is a base engine and NOT the "Si" version as he needs... they are charging him the shipping both ways and a 20% restock charge to send it back and refund his money. Just make sure you are ordering what you need.

Dang that’s rough losing money on that right there was the description misleading or something. Also if that’s a bad supplier do you know a different one or should they do the job as along as I’m thorough with what I need.

The description was in fact a bit misleading... it stated that it was for the '16-22 Civic. For those that don't know, the Sport and EX model engines are slightly different internally than the Si version even though they have the same block stamping. They blame him for not KNOWING exactly what he needed.

Buyer Beware.

Why not just have the trans repaired?

Cause the price to get it repaired is astronomical compared to the price of getting a newer one with a warranty.

Probably... but at least you would KNOW what you have then.

Since you already spent money on a bad trans, why not put a little more$ on top and have it rebuilt vs risking buying another USED transmission.

But then again, I get it sometimes the car is not worth it and a used engine or trans is the more practical solution sometimes.

Just my opinion.
