Default High idling after water pump replacement

I replaced the water pump in my 2000 Accord EX 2.3 4 cylinder, and now it idles at 3000 RPM. I can't even take it out of gear to try and drive it. When I put the timing belt and balancer belt, all my timing marks line up. There's no way, that I've found with this particular vehicle, to adjust the idling. Ideas?

Check your vacuum hoses. Make sure the cooling system is bled properly.

I'll try tomorrow. Also, could it possibly be a timing issue? When I did the water pump I replaced the timing belt. All my marks lined up, but wondering if that could be the issue. Thanks.

Check your pcv valve and hose.
If the hose, or valve, are leaking that would cause a pretty large vacuum leak.

There was a recent thread bump that pointed out the cruise control being a common culprit of high idle after timing belt replacement.

Try unplugging the cruise control module under the hood.

If not, it's a vacuum leak. Timing being off usually won't cause the idle to be this high.
