Default Multiple System Warnings + P0011 & P05CC Codes on 5th-Gen CR-V Hybrid (2.0L, 40k km)

Hello everyone,

I drive a 5th-generation Honda CR-V Hybrid (2.0 L) with about 40,000 km on the clock. Recently, I’ve been seeing several simultaneous system warnings appear on the dashboard when starting the car:
  • ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) problem
  • Brake system problem
  • Brake hold system problem
  • Power steering system problem
  • Hill start assist problem

When I scanned the car with OBD-II, it threw the following codes: P0011 and P05CC.

I had the car checked by an electrician who referred me to an engine specialist. The mechanic verified the timing chain alignment and confirmed that the motor is fine. In his opinion, the VTC itself is not mechanically broken, and the issue likely lies elsewhere.

On my end, I have:
  • Changed the engine oil. The issue persists.
  • Checked cables from the VTC sensor; signals are present.
  • Checked all relevant fuses—they are intact.
  • Cleared the codes; this temporarily resolves the warnings for a few hours, but once the vehicle switches to gasoline engine mode, the messages reappear.
  • I have replaced the car's battery, but the same warning messages appear on the dashboard.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue? How did you resolve it? I’m suspecting an electrical control or signal fault linked to these codes and system warnings.

Thanks in advance for any input and suggestions!
