Anyone have good history with reliable reman PS pumps for 94 civic EX? I've always used OEM FOR my 94 Civic EX/ 86 CRX Si components over last thirty years. Will rebuild the pump but I'm hoping some members know of well-built reman power steering pumps. Need to get my baby back on the road quickly though any help appreciated

 

I would stick with a new not reman option, there's a brand on rockauto called Lares that sells one for your car that actually has a decent rep for making quality classic parts.

Thank you captain! Excellent. i did read Lares have great QA reputation I'll get that rolling right now. . I checked my Chilton's manual-seems very straightforward. In your experience is it a very difficult process? The fourth gen 1994 seems Honda-simple. Again, thank you for your input and any additional information regarding installation.

 

If you have a chilton to follow you should be just fine, I've always been told to replace high pressure hoses if replacing pumps as a preventative type replacement, as those are known to fail and you would have to redo your fluid again. Little messy but pretty straight forward, get er done!
