Question???????
My sister gave me a 95 civic lx and i was wondering what i would need to swap it with lets say a 95 si engine, since its v-tech any changes, i know i would need the tranny, ecu, wiring harness's anything else? thanks

step #1 its VTEC, V-T-E-C. VTECH IS A PHONE. learn how to spell.
step #2 SEARCH its really easy to put that engine in your car.

why do you want to swap a SOHC VTEC in an LX?? why not save more $$ and get a DOHC VTEC and get more hp??? it's worth the $$$

OK, here ya go ...I was dumb too once ... a B16a Will drop right into a gen 5 civic you need an engine trans. ecu axles and shift linkage ... then with some wiring it will drop right in ... and figure it out newbi ! vtech = phone vtec= honda engine

Dropping an SI engine in that chit would be a waste.. if your gonna swap an engine in go with the B18 series or H22 series engines.. dont waste your time with that other chit.. waste of time and money if ya ask me!
