Default ELD

Can someone tell me if my car has ELD (Electrical Load Detector)? if yes, where is it located? I have a US 1997 Honda Accord LX 4-cylinder sedan.
I am trying to figure out why my Battery light pops up randomly for a second while driving on a hot day with AC on. I plugged a digital voltage display(with USB outputs) to cigarette lighter, the reading kept changing 12.7 - 14.5 depending on when stopped at the signal or while driving but stays steady at around 14v while idling. I am not sure if the display should always be at 14v or so when the car is on, a youtube video says if the voltage fluctuates, then it could be a ELD issue.

Vehicle history: Replaced starter(Refurb Denso) & Alternator(refurbrished Duralast from Autozone) last year.

Please advise.

The car has an ELD, it is integrated as part of the under-hood fuse/relay box.

The battery/charge light is more likely due to an alternator issue or belt tension/pulley issue.

That is the ELD operating as normal. It will cut the alternator output to approximately 12.6 volts under low load conditions for economy purposes.

Your issue is likely the Duralast alternator. Any parts store alternator you get is gonna be garbage. Look for a used OEM Denso unit off of eBay.
