Hello guys , summer came back and having an issue with my a/c clutch engagement.
After a days worth of search , I think my problem lies with the a/c thermostat. wiring is all good , relay is working as it should . Clutch engages if I connect it directly to power. so the rest of the system is good. Also filled with refrigirator.

I have 2 questions.
First question is does the ECU send a signal to the relay , or it only recieves signal that the a/c is on so it will compensate? Running OBD2B harness -> OBD1 P30 ecu with CobraRTP.

Second question is , Can I bypass temporarily the a/c thermostat? In my climate I don't think its going to be an issue of freezing internal components.
I saw this article , but can I bypass it via wiring or the connector itself? is there a quick and dirty way to do that? and if you guys have any diagrams would be greatly appreciated.

So I jumped WHT/BLU witgh RED/BLU but nothing... still no correct input into the relay in order to engage the clutch....
That is super odd. is it direct connection or via ecu or something like that?
Any help greatly appreciated.
The ecu bumps the idle so the logic is there because using cobraRTP and HTS... might be a problem with the conversion harness but from what i've seen it is correct but will check again.
