Tape it up to the trunk of the loom with a loop of electrical tape or a cable tie so it doesn't dangle on your axle and send.

while the PS plug is a 2 pin connector no obd1/2 cars have a green plug such as that
if the OP car does not have PS then it goes to something else and someone probably repaired it with a green 2 pin plug
check the back of the intake manifold and see if the IACV has something plugged into it

Possible that someone re-shelled it in the thirty years that this loom has been on the planet, but you make a good argument. The fact that OP has no power steering and the connector has no home says I’m probably still correct. If it was for the IACV and wasn’t plugged in, the engine would surely not be idling and would have a CEL.

OP, where did your engine harness/loom come from? What are the wire colors at that connector?

Oh yes 100% its for the IACV. I replaced the intake and it wont fit with it. Im gonna start the car still and manually adjust the idle once it warms up, but it will probably have a hard time idling during cold starts. Still have yet to start it

Ahh gotcha.

Be 100% sure of what it is before you plug it in or start the engine. If it’s for the IACV, it will have battery voltage on one of the wires with key on engine off. If it is in fact for the for the IACV and you plug it into a sensor, bad things will happen.

What are the wire colors?

2 wires, black and blue, both with yellow stripes. I havent been working on the car in a bit so I assume I forgot about it when I installed the blockoff plate. The connection fits with the stock IACV

Yeah black/yellow is 12V power, blue/yellow is IACV.
