I was seeing if anyone had any ideas. I have a '95 honda accord with 38k miles on it. I had an ignition interlock put it and had run for 6 months with it in. Then I heard a short and lost power one day while driving. Take it to the mechanic and they replaced the ecu, distributor, fuel pump and spark plugs. He is saying that the he believes the interlock caused it.
I get it out and runs great down to where I get my interlock hooked back in. A mile down the road after getting it back in, it sounds different as it idled at a red light. I get it home and go to start it again in a few days and won't start. Turns over but won't start, even hooked an emergency jumper to it for extra boost and still would not start. I looked at what wires the connected to. They hooked into the ignition harness the blk/ylw, wht, & the blk/wht wires. It looks like they possibly hooked into the yellow before but did not this time.
I was seeing if anyone has any idea why it is wrecking havoc with my car and if there is something I can do?
