Default Coolant not circulating properly

Hi all,

After a couple years of my EM1 sitting I'd like to get it on the roads again. The last time it was driven my upper radiator hose was filling up until it bursted and this happened at normal operating temperature. I'm wondering how I should diagnose this.

I'll have more details soon as I haven't had a chance to fill the car with coolant yet, I just basically cleaned up my grounds & made sure it still starts which it does. However it has a very low idle which I might adjust on the TB if it doesn't work itself out.

Perhaps I have a problem with my radiator? It would be strange since its a like new radiator, although it is a cheaper one. The lower hose didn't have any noticeable problem, it was just the upper one that bursted. Thanks in advance for any help.

Check your water pump, if you dont know the last time it was replaced Id look into a new water pump and timing belt.
