EVAP Solenoid Replacement Question
I have a 1999 Honda Civic 4 Door Sedan EX submodel. I need to switch out the EVAP Solenoid.
I was able to find a Solenoid for the CX, DX, or LX models, but not the one for EX/HX.
The part numbers are:
36162P2MA11 (EX/HX)
36162P2EA11 (CX, DX, LX)
The parts look exactly the same, have exactly the same specs, down to voltage, input/output, etc..
The only difference I can find is the MA11 (mine) says it works for VTEC Engine and the other says its for Non-VTEC
Would there be any major issues if I used the EA11 one? I have been Googling and searching through multiple forums for hours trying to find an answer.
