Default LEV to ULEV engine swap headaches (p0135)

Hello
I swapped a ULEV 2000 into a 2001 Accord that had a LEV motor. All the connections fit and none were left over. Both have a distributor. The upstream sensor is from the ULEV but the downstream one is from the LEV tests good. Car runs great at start up but after a few min when given gas it will only go to about 2500rpm then will cut out and bounce unless you back off the gas. Fuel pressure good. PCM is original one from car so it was for LEV maybe this is problem? As stated engines both had all same connections and connectors. As stated it has a p0135 code that instantly returns on startup after clearing.
Any serious ideas appreciated.

Cross reference the PCMs from the respective cars. If they differ, install the ULEV PCM. Though even if they are the same PCM number, bet on the ULEV tune differing from the LEV tune. So I'd swap the PCM out anyway IMO.

Match the 02 sensors to the engine being used.

The ULEV upstream sensor is an Air Fuel Ratio (AFR) sensor. Whereas your original motor has an oxygen (O2) sensor.

The P0135 is an O2 sensor trouble code.

Use the O2 sensor from original engine.
