06 CRV Power Window - Ground Fault?
Hi,
Recently, all four of the power windows went dead on my 06 CRV. I checked the fuses and tried a new master switch, but the problem persisted.I took the driver door panel apart and inspected the wiring harness. I found a break in the 14 gauge black wire (Ground), and orange wire, and cracks in the blue/red and blue/yellow wire. I fixed these and all the windows began to work again.
However, 48 hours later, the windows stopped working again, this time it was just the passenger windows not working. The driver window still works. I checked the fuses again, all good. There is power going to the master switch, but I do not get a reading for power to the other switches. I do notice that the green/white wire is shorted to ground, as it makes a beep when I checked for continuity between it and the black which i am assuming it should not do.
I am guessing that another wire has broken, and is causing an issue with power and ground. There is no power going to the fuses that run the three windows. Could it be a bad relay?
Is there a way to bypass the master switch to get my windows to go up. I tried jumping a power cable to the passenger side switch with 12 v and jumping the correct terminals to make the window go up, but no luck.
Any help is much appreciated

Hi,
Your new switch maybe bad?
Would not be the first time!
To reverse the motor rotation just switch power /ground leads.
LOTS of utube vids on troubleshooting these H
