Default 1989 Civic DX Hatchback Parts Compatibility with 1990 DX Hatchback Question

Sorry if this has been asked already, I searched but couldn't find a clear answer.

Will 1989 Civic DX hatchback headlights and corner lights (including both their original mounting brackets) fit onto a 1990 Civic DX hatchback?
Will a 1989 window with the regulator fit in a 1990 door?

Thanks.

Okay, so I seemed to find part of the answer for the first question. 4 mounting points on the bracket mount up with the radiator support holes and the headlight can be bolted in. The corner lights are held on by plastic clips attached to the headlight as well as 2 screws on the side of the corner lights. They mount properly with the headlight, but are flimsy. On the 90 fender, I believe there are 2 plastic clips instead of the 2 bolt holes on the 89, so Im not sure on how I would be able to use those 2 mounting points and be able to use the 2 screws.

I find the best way to answer these types of questions is to first determine the part numbers then check the Vehicle Fitment section for that part on HondaPartsNow.com. Part numbers in general make it easier to find what you need. I'm guessing you are looking for the drivers (left) side parts 73350-SH3-000 & 72250-SH3-013 In this case it appears that they are different because it indicates that those parts only fit 1988 and 1989. But interestingly if you need the passenger window it is still available new from Honda. The 88 and 89 parts are probably easier to find because the 90 and 91 parts would be unique to the USA (because of the silly "passive" seat belts) where as the 88 & 89 part was probably used for the entire 4 year run in other countries. If you need the drivers side part you might look for it in Japan or Australia where it would be the passenger side part and therefore have less wear on it. good luck!

So the windows look different, thats for sure. I know they wont fit on a 90-91 regulator. But, if I put both the 88-89 regulator and 88-89 window in a 90-91 door would it fit and vice versa?

Pretty sure the answer is no. The door mounted seat belts required a lot of changes. Are you doing all four parts? (both on both doors)
