Default JDM CB9 Transmission Replacement

Hey folks,

Are JDM and USD transmissions plug and play interchangeable? I need to replace the transmission on my JDM 1993 Accord Wagon. What USD transmission would be a plug and play for my automatic JDM F22A?

Or is there a website that I can order an authentic JDM transmission?

TIA, everyone

Default Re: JDM CB9 Transmission Replacement

Any 90-97 F/H powered 4th/5th Gen Accord, manual or automatic will work.
Any 95-97 F22 powered 1st geb Ody will work.
Any 92-96 F/H powered 4th Gen Prelude 'bullnose' trans will work.
Later 6thgen Accords and 5thGen Prelude MTs can be used but not their A/Ts.

Difference with models is final drive and 1-4 gear ratios. Ideally the same model and sub model.
For automatics you will need to use the 'H4A' family. Not the earlier H4 or later M6HA.

Look for the four letter alpha coded sticker on the case, not the VIN tag.

Engine tune greatly affects transmission functionality and a dead TPS may not set a code but will prevent transmission from shifting correctly.

Accord coupe is conservative gearvratio, Prelude Si VTEC is the most aggressive.
