Default f23a1 Timing belt tension

Ive been at this timing belt for a while now trying to determine the correct tension. when I set to tdc loosen the 14mm adjuster nut and turn the cam 3 teeth ccw it just doesn't seem to have enough tension. what will happen is it will seem tight but after a few revolutions one of the sides feels a bit too loose. I have pried up on it but i don't want to tension it too tight. is it supposed to feel somewhat loose?

To be sure, get everything at TDC, slip the belts onto all the right pullies, then turn the engine a couple of full rotations (TDC to TDC) by hand at the crank pully with your breaker bar, returning to TDC, check the marks again to make sure they're still lined up.. The engine rotation will snug up the belt a lot, so you just need to check the tension and get it good. It should be a bit snug but not muscled on there. It should twist some, but not a lot. If you over tension the belt at first, the first time you start the engine, the belt will grip even tighter, and squeal for many miles and drive you crazy.
