I’ve been told the D16z6 was a good swap
Power goal is 400 to 500 rn
need some suggestions for the build
The car is a 1996 civic lx with the stock d16y7

for that power goal the benefits of a Z6 over the Y7 aren't going to have a huge impact. both are going to require the same level of modification and upgrading to hit that goal so stick with the one you've got.

but do look for a transmission from a Z6 or Y8 (EX) when you are gathering parts for the auto/manual conversion. that's going to be worthwhile.

 

Thanks for the info. So I blown a rod in the OG d16y7 because it was knocking bad so I sent it all the way and dropped the motor and transmission together now I’m at this point time to clean the car with a pressure wash ?ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND A ENGINE?
