I had this car inspected. It has 40k miles. Entire inspection was good. But this engine video gives me pause. Is that tick or noise normal?

 

Anyone know if this sounds right? It doesn't to me. If I hear someone say "no. They just sound that way" I might buy it. But if not it just sounds like a lifter knock to me. And if that's the case I have no idea how long it's been bad, what metal has been worn off the camshaft, and how long that metal has been sitting thru the engine. Not to mention they are asking full bluebook, private party sale price.

This sounds a lot like the sound my 2007 CR-V started making. It began like this then soon turned into a loud whine. I posted in another thread - I have the alternator and water pump out and will replace then tomorrow, I'll post here and in the thread I started if this fixes it.
