02 Honda Civic, tire size too big?
New here. So I obtained a 2002 Honda Civic Si hatchback 2dr. It does not have the stock rims. The tires on them are 215/45/R17 low profile tires. The stocks are 195/60 /r15. How bad is this ?
That tire is four tenths of an inch taller than the stock size. If you intend to stay with 17" wheels, assuming that you are using a 7" width, the perfect tire would actually be a P205/45R17. This will be the exact same height as the OE tire.
- From the top of the tire, to the lip of the wheel well, i have about an inch of space. It's obviously rubbing, also the car is lowered and I'm in the desert where roads are terrible.
