Default 94 honda EX Automatic transmission malfunction

Hello, I have a 1994 Honda Civic ex automatic transmission car. My problem is this morning, I started my car, put the gear in R position and backed out of the garage. Then I put the gear in D4 position, started moving, accelerated but the car did not shift up and started yelling. I stopped and put the gear in N position, put it in D4 once more, started moving, the gear did not shift up again, yelled. Does anyone know the problem?

Simply... this is what "Broken" means. It was operating just fine... and now it isn't. Automatic transmissions are very delicate and complicated devices and the likelihood of you repairing it on your own is slim unless you have extensive experience with diagnosing and repairing Honda Automatic transmissions. First: Do you have any transmission related codes (is your "check engine" light on and have you checked the codes - are any transmission related) ? If so, fix those issues first !!! If not, a transmission fluid flush/change is the first step. If that doesn't work, you will have to consider either some professional help or a replacement transmission.
