91 crx si seatbelt light not turning on
Hello,
The seat belt lights on my crx wont turn on. The driver one on the cluster and the rear view mirror
Anyone have any idea how to fix it?
So far I tested the bulbs are good, theres continuity at the to the buckle and the buckle works too.
Where do I start testing for continuity at the gray box behind the passenger dash? I think thats whats broken. And if I can figure out which wire goes where I can just jump and bypass the box

I'm confused, do you want to fix it or bypass it because those don't seem like the same thing. I thought the seat belt module was a metal box on the passenger side of the heater core enclosure. When you describe it as a gray box I start thinking about the gray plastic ICU box but that would be on the drivers side not the passenger side. I can tell you that in a stock 91 CRX the ICU (the grey box behind the fuse box on the DRIVERS side dash) has nothing to do with the seat belt system. There are PDFs of the service manual available for download from the internet. That would contain the wire diagram and that is where I would start.

So my next step is checking for continuity there. If the box is the problem I think I can just jump the pins to get power to the bulbs. I dont know which color wires I would jump together though
