Help me identify the ticking noise
Hello guys,
Its my first post here.
My s2000 (AP1) developed a ticking sound that can be heard during acceleration (2500k to 5k rpms, then the car is already too loud) or on idle while pressing gas. I was misled and unfortunately changed the whole gearbox but the problem was not solved.
Recently after months of search ,I changed the belt idler pulley (Aftermarket), just the bearing not the whole pulley since I noticed it makes a sound and is much louder than the others. The sound decreased but is not gone.
Here is the sound before the change:
After the change:
I have already changed CAT, TCT and did valve adjustment 3 times..
Other people reported the same noise:
,
ps. If you are not on a mobile device or on a good speakers, it is possible that you can't hear the noise.
ps2. Pretty desperate right now
