Default Code P0730 Honda Civic 1999 LX Automatic

Hey yall I came here because a friend said yall can help me. My check engine light came on so I ran the code and it was a solenoid shift one so I cleaned out the solenoid flushed the fluid and it was good for about 3 months then it came on again for the same reason so this time I replaced it and flushed it and it was good… then a week later the engine light came right back on for the same reason. Is my transmission cooked or is there still saving it?

P0730 isn't a shift solenoid specific code, that is just one potential in the list of several causes for the code. it is "incorrect gear ratio" which in most cases is going to mean slipping.

it sounds like you have already addressed any potential dirty or low fluid level issues with flushing. there could still be an internal clog, but I wouldn't jump to conclusions. was the drained fluid dark or burnt smelling?
