Intermittent crank no start 95 dx
Really struggling. Had an intermittent no start on my 95 civic dx. About a month ago the car would have a crank no start and the CEL would not go away. I noticed that the main relay wiring harness was chewed up bad and I replaced it and the main relay. The car then would not start till after I hit it with starting fluid. And acted fine ever since last night. Then I got in the car and the cel didn’t disappear and had the same crank no start. I hit it with the fluid again and it just coughed. Any recommendations? I did replace some grounds as well but no dice.
The "Check Engine" light staying on is a common symptom of ECU failure. Try a "Known Good" ECU to start the car... ANY OBD-1 ECU will do.
