Fuel gauge always past full

Default Fuel gauge always past full

So I've been having this problem intermittedly for about maybe a month now I went ahead and replaced the cluster that wasn't the issue went ahead and replaced the float and that wasn't the issue so now all I'm left with is the wiring anybody have the diagram?

Your sending unit is grounded out whether by bad wiring or being hooked up wrong. Very possible the previous owner didn't know what they were doing, start there and get a wiring diagram from Honda or a repair manual.

Is the black/white wire just ground?.

and the yellow/white wire had 2.4v on it

Affirm…black is ground. I’m not sure what the voltage would be as the sender transitions from 5 to 105 ohms. I’d image it should still be 12v, though. Shouldn’t be a drop across the gauge. The change in resistance should just change the current flowing through the gauge, changing the magnetic field and moving the gauge accordingly. I’ve been wrong before once, though…😁
