Default Sluething a Burnt Compressor Field Coil

2005 Odyssey

I replaced a non-functioning compressor field coil July '24. Smash cut to this week and wifey complains about warm air at the first hot spring day. After the usual cursory steps, I determined that the seven-month-old field coil is indeed bad.

In between these two dates there were two events:
- last Fall I replaced a noisy idler pulley, along with the belt and tensioner; and,
- mid-winter I replaced the A/C compressor pulley after its bearing failed violently; I swapped in a new clutch at the same time.
Then this week the field coil goes out... again.

A field coil is a rather robust part that one expects to last years, though I realize it is entirely within the realm of possibility that this new Genuine Honda part was faulty. There aren't any relevant TSB's that I can find, so I post my query here for those with possible insight.

Is i possible that, somehow, the field coil was stressed by the either of the two incidents that happened over its lifespan?
