So I have a question guys, I need to verify that the d16y8 rocker arm assembly will swap strait onto a d16z6, I have a worn d16z6 rocker arm assembly that I’m going to attempt to polish and rebuild, my issue is my d16z6 rocker rollers will only rock with force not freely like they should, there slightly binding on the shaft. I’ve read that you can swap them but use the same end caps due to machined to spec surfaces. Is this true, can you swap a d16z6 rocker arm assembly for a d16y8 if you use the same end caps to match the head?
