Anyone having a problem with melting parts on their Honda Accord? I bought a certified used Honda Accord Hybrid 2021 and within six months the bumper melted. Honda won’t replace the bumper because they said it was due to reflective sun. I say it’s due to poor quality materials. Anybody else having this issue?

 

That is 100% a cheap, knock-off bumper and or a crappy paint job.

Not much you can do other than replace it.

Id talk to your insurance company and see if they will do anything.

I owned an auto body shop for 30 years. that looks like a poor repair. I suspect that the dealer you bought it from had the bumper replaced before selling this car. the bumper cover will need to be stripped and repainted or replaced. i would go back to who you bought the car from and ask if they had some repair done? perhaps there is a warranty on that repair? of course it might have been done just before it was traded in. good luck!
