VTec Valve Madness
Ok, I have driven myself batty trying to figure out my '06 3.0l 6-speed Accords issue. It randomly popped up a P2646 while cruising the other day. Read and read on it and and every video I find and every picture I see relates to the 2.4l but not my 3.0l. My code is pointing to Bank A (rear bank?) rocker arm actuator. My car drove just fine and never stumbled like others have said, but out of an abundance of caution I have sidelined it until I can figure out wtf is needed.
Most people say change or check your oil, mine was just changed 300 miles ago and is full. I am trying to figure out exactly what I need to work on. Some videos show a solenoid right above the alternator, others show a "spool valve" on the right-rear side of the engine, others show having to remove the entire oil filter housing to get to the gaskets/filter for this. The filter housing location seems to make the most sense as that is the same side as Bank A (right?). Can someone lay out where I need to start on this? Also I am finding all sorts of different part numbers for this bugger. The one that seems most likely would be 36171-P8E-A01, found on a parts diagram. But could it also be 3725-PNE-G01, the switch assembly? The oil pressure light itself has never illuminated, so I am not sure of this one.
Any help and pointers would be very much appreciated. Thanks all!

what viscosity oil is being used? is there sludge or dark build up on the rockers (check through the oil fill cap)?
if the solenoid coil tests ok electrically then assume it's fine and move on. check continuity and ground from the solenoid and pressure switch back to the ECU.
the correct switch # is 37250-PR3-003. the number you have for the solenoid looks right. But 15825-P8A-A01 for the filter gasket is the only thing I would throw at it unless one of those other components tests bad.
Pull the oil filter housing off of the pump to install the new filter gasket and make sure everything is clean and free of debris. check that the spool valve isn't stuck.
there is only one spool valve on the 3L so "bank a (1)" is a little misleading. there is one valve that operates both banks/cylinder heads.

@hondamark35 Thank you for the help part numbers. To answer your questions, the dealer changes the oil currenlty and is using a 5w-20 viscosity. Level seems fine, if not a touch on the higher side. I did remove the oil fill cap placing my bore scope in and everything was pretty clean appearing. It's a 2006 with only 135k on it and I have nearly all the past service history to it. I have ordered the screen/gasket assembly, should be arriving today weather permitting. I will most likely tear into it this weekend to evaluate the state of that screen and swap in the new one as a preventative measure.
I was able, after about 4 attempts, to clear the code with my bluetooth OBD adapter and my TorquePro app. Drove it to work yesterday (95+ miles roundtrip) and no re-illumination of CEL. I will admit I did drive a little more cautiously, keeping the revs below 3.5k and generally driving like an octogenarian.
