Default IC17 TA8903SN vs emulator

Hey HT,

Having the dreaded fuel pump not priming problem, and I've already replaced the caps, so I'm going to replace the IC17 now. I see that there are alot of TA8903SN emulators on the market now, but it seems like I can still get an actual TA8903SN if I look around. Any reason to actually use the original part vs an emulator in 2025 other than price?

Thanks!

You might want to ask a MOD to move this thread to the Engine Management/Tuning sub-forum... you will likely get better answers there. Please do not double post.

I'm using the emulator.
It's pretty hard to find the original TA8903SN and I had no issues with IC17 emulator from ApolloTuning.

IC17 emulator is marked in "red" and full scale (5V) modification for ELD and B6 is marked in "yellow"
