Default Replacing 2000 Odyssey OEM Navigation Screen?

Hi all,

I just bought a 2000 Odyssey EX that came with the factory Honda Navigation System and want to replace it with a Double-DIN CarPlay head unit. Normally, it'd be a piece of cake for me, but this factory option is throwing me off a bit as it's different from a standard radio layout.

Here's what my Odyssey looks like. Note the relocated climate controls that I've never seen in that style before.

Here's what a regular non-navigation layout would look like.

Here's what a slightly higher optioned layout would look like.

My question: Is the navigation screen of a standard double-DIN size? Every option for CarPlay units I see on Crutchfield for this car is of the floating screen variety. I'd rather just have a regular screen that sits flush in the dash than one that sticks out.

I could just leave the factory single-DIN radio in there if I can replace the navigation screen rather than leave the screen and have the floating screen in place of the single-DIN.

Is it possible to just buy a regular flush fit double-DIN radio and install it in place of the OEM navigation screen?

Thanks.

Edit: Nevermind, it looks like majority of the climate controls are integrated into the navigation unit. Floating single-DIN unit it is :/
