I have a recently aqquired 1988 Civic 2 dr.wagon and the LH manual window regulator is stripped out. I have found out the regulator is different from the 4 door sedan front door, There seem to be no aftermarket ones available for the 2 door, leaving only used ones as a choice and they are high priced! Does anyone know what all the differences are between a sedan and a hatchback regulator other than the glass mounting rail? Thanks

 

Hatchback version has a stronger spring.
