Default Cheap chip burner for SST 27SF512 chip, OBD1 ECU

I have an SST 27SF512 chip and I was wondering if a chip burner like this one could work?

https://www.amazon.ca/EEPROM-Programmer-SP200SE-Enhanced-Version/dp/B07P3HMD2Y/ref=asc_df_B07P3HMD2Y/

All the ones I found are over $100 cad or nobody sells them anymore.

If this one doesnt work do you guys have suggestions?

I came across this ROM burner project recently. I haven't tried it myself but from the description and youtube video, it seems to fit the bill.

I think it would require some familiarity with Arduinos to get it working, but there are plenty of resources out there for learning that if so.

The one you linked to on amazon should work fine, looks good to me!

But I would look for a chip emulator rather than burning chips. I wonder what's available these days; you got me lookin now

The moates ostrich 2.0 was ahead of it's time. Seems like there are no solutions for RTP really. CobraRTP $160. Meh. Nothin cheap I'm finding. The ostrich 2.0 is very compact compared to most of the DIY projects that use an arduino.

I was hoping to find something similar to this https://microcorelabs.wordpress.com/...prom-emulator/ https://forum.vcfed.org/index.php?th...mulator.80675/
