Default Cruise control not working

So I’m in a weird spot here, my cruise control stopped working awhile back. What’s happening is that I can press the cruise main switch on, and then when I press the “set” button it doesn’t engage the cruise control. Nor does it illuminate on the dash. I have checked the throttle cable and the vacuum seal and all are good and attached. I have also cleaned the connections on the main switch, the steering wheel switches, and the cruise control module. My break lights also work as well. The only other thing that I think could be my issue if this is even possible is that I bought replacement LEDs for the status light and the courtesy light for the cruise main switch. From LED automotive, but the closed on December 31st 2024. I also have replaced my brake lights to LED lights but this was after the cruise control decided to go out. I doubt that that is the problem. but I thought I’d put that in there. Additionally when I start my car, my shifter lock spasms and clicks a lot. And then I’m able to shift the car out of park without my brake depressed at all.
