Default 06' CR-V Tire Switch with 04' Cr-V

Currently undergoing a bit of a project and trying to figure out what the best move is so I thought I would come to the source for some information.
I wrecked my 2004 Honda CR-V and went out and found a 2006 that I replaced it with, the front end of the 04 was smashed in but the tires and rims are in great shape and I have less than a year on the A/T tires that I put on there. The issue that I am facing is that the 2004 Rims that I have are 15 inch while the 2006 has 16 inch rims. I attempted the switch just to see what would happen since its the same bolt pattern and in theory I felt like it would work, the issue though is that the break caliper is rubbing on the front tires (have not tried the rear) and not letting it move freely. I would rather not have to get rid of the new tires If I can help it but am running into a brick wall here trying to figure out what I can do to make this work. Any advice? Any other 15 inch rims from any other car that could possibly clear the caliper? I also have access to the whole CR-V so if there a way to switch some parts out to make it work I would be open to those suggestions as well, thanks in advance.
