May be the end of the line... passed smog, but coolant had been disappearing... did a pressure test, it is the insulator gasket between the carb and the intake.
Part 16211-PE1-611 or 16211-PE1611 depending on websites has been unavailable for over 10 years...

I will try to slap some RTV, albeit some practice run many years ago has shown that some of the wires are way too short for an easy way out.
Some update, RTV is not recommended for gasoline, so it will be "the right stuff".
I looked at the weber for kicks, it seems that the interface manifold carb obstruct the 3rd barrel...
Tough to get some of the wiring disconnect, the fuel solenoid and choke connectors are tucked way in the back and under the vacuum hoses rear manifold.
I thought about bypassing the heater hose to prevent coolant loss, but cannot see the return or the feed which I suspect is under the gasket and part of the intake manifold.
I would imagine getting a new base gasket made today would not be horribly expensive. It's not a really complex part.
You could send a cad file off to somewhere like pcbway and have them mill one from phenolic or have it 3D printed in a fuel/heat compatible plastic.
3D or CNC make sense, looking at the one I pulled off the junkyard for practice years ago, and mine which was overtorqued , it specs at 16ft/lb, I had to use a breaker bar , the ribs on the coolant passage where a bit messed up.
Quick update: I did a test of "the right stuff", and the "seal all" , these were recommended from another forum, on some inner tube bits, after all the Honda insulator is a big chunk of rubber. The right stuff cure time is supposed to be 90 min... after a few hours in the garage or 60ish F the right stuff was still not set... 24hrs later, may be, 48hrs, it was set.... Seal all set a lot faster, at about 24hrs.
the other issue is that the right stuff is not compatible with exposure to gasoline .... not too sure about seal all for coolant.... seal all is for gasoline leaks issues.
I looked at other sealant, that I have been using for a while , one is Hylomar blue which is gasoline, steam and coolant resistant, I have used it on the carb gasket in a jeep, on water pump gasket and other vehicles... so Hylomar blue was used, I let it sit for almost 48hrs, 46hours to be exact...
Engine started, no vacuum leaks when sprayed with starting fluid, coolant pressure is holding up when pressure testing.
Of course I cheated... there was a honda with the same engine at the junkyard with only 109Kmiles, so I took that gasket which was in much better shape than mine at 203Kmiles.
40 miles driven so far, with no issues but a coolant drip from the previous thermostat swap, I retorqued the clamp on the housing, and no drips so far.
The funny part is the notice that it has been 14 years since I join this forum... when I bought that civic... which had 138K, now at 202K
So far so good after 2kmiles, the most surprising observation, is that the brake booster is a lot better, firmer brake pedal, I guess it was a severe vacuum leak!
