I have a 2003 Civic and am trying to remove the kick panel on the driver's side to replace the bonnet release ****.
I've managed to detach the panel almost completely but the inward-facing side of the panel has a hole which is the opening of a longish tube running from the face of the panel to the car body (to which it appears to be firmly attached). This is now the only thing that is holding the kick panel to the car and I can't budge it.
Does anybody know how to release this tube from the car body so that the kick panel will come away?
