Element Stalling issue
My 06 Element has a stalling issue that i've been trying to diagnose for a few months now. This stalling only happens when I drive it for the first time in the morning when the engine is completely cold. I let it warm up for a few minuets and every time within the first or second stop at a light, the car stalls on me. I put in in park turn the car off and then right back on, and it starts right back up and then runs just fine the rest of the day. The same thing happens everyday at the same spots. There are no lights on either. I have no idea what this could be.
I have changed the Ignition Coils, all plugs, cleaned the throttle body, swapped the TPS sensor and the idol control valve and the Air assist valve, Main fuel pump relay, and air cleaner.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this to happen everyday like clockwork?
Thanks

if you haven't already performed a reset/relearn procedure after cleaning the air intake throttle body valve you might give that a try.
i had a similar problem where after a cold start i would shift into drive and the element would stall or sputter/ putt putt forward.. but if E was warmed up it would drive fine rest of day. similar symptoms that you had.
after cleaning the valve body, inspecting plugs, coils, ignition parts etc, I inspected and adjusted the valves (way past due and off specifications) and ended up also replacing my catalytic converter. the converter had a foul smell coming out for months and after a test with a heat gun it appeared to be out of normal range. oddly, somewhere in all of that (along with the relearn procedure) the stall/sputter magically went away.
