Coolant and Airbox sensor
Hi, i want to turn my car on today after the accident, it has been parked for 2 weeks, maybe more, but my question is, i let the radiator flush, but there is still some coolant in the engine, what would happend if i fill the radiator with water? do you think it'll make the engine rust, or is enough coolant in the engine to stop rust? or a better question would be how much coolant does the engine hold and how much coolant does the radiator holds?
And i know there is a sensor on the stock airbox, don't remember the name of it, but i know that when you guys put your CAI you just put it apart and hold it with some straps, but does the engine work without this? and what can i do to by pass it? because i think the engine turns on, but it stumbles.
Any help would be apreciated, and as quick as you can please

The coolant's main job is to raise the boiling point and lower the freezing point of water. The rust prevention is minimal. Most components of the cooling system are made to be resistant to rust anyway. The remaining coolant in the block will only moderately affect the system as a whole if you add just straight water. If you add just water and it gets below freezing in your area overnight or something, you are risking the block/radiator freezing and cracking. (Ever leave a can of pop in the freezer?) You could run a car's cooling system on just water but I wouldn't recommend it.
That sensor on the intake, just unplug it and take it out.

lol, the lower temp down here is 70, maybe higher, hehe, but thanks, i was worried is because of the rust, but it help, well, i'm going to try, good luck to me
MY CAR TURNED ON WITHOUT ANYPROBLEM!!
yeah, i'm in Venezuela.
I even put it in first gear and let it roll a bit, one side is on the jack, so it wasn't going to go anywhere. Well, i'm happy and i realized how much i miss IT!
By the way, i like the sound of the intake without anything in it!! sounds really bad, yeah i know it cant be run this way, but i was just comenting.
EDIT: there was one lil problem, the dist cap broke in one of the cil, but i kinda put it where it was and it stayed there, so i need a new one.
