Default Wheel Sizing and Offset?

I recently found a set of wheels I think would look good. But I have NO IDEA what sizing will fit the car.

The wheels are a set of Work Equip 01s.
They are 14x5.5j, with an offset of +35.
The car is pretty much stock.

Will these fit? Or am I about to make a huge mistake?

They’ll fit but those are tiny wheels.

On a Civic, 15" is the bare minimum. 14" looks tiny, especially on a coupe.

I mean, the stock size for an EJ1/EX is 14x5.5 +45. They’ll fit fine, just a little further outboard than stock. Will they look good? Sure, probably better than the stock wheels.

Typical “modern” aftermarket sizing for these cars is 15” or 16” x 7”-8” width in +45 to +32 offset. You need to start lowering your offset once you get wider than 7” in order to clear the suspension on the inside of the wheel. 8” +32 is about as much as will fit under the fenders and not poke out and look silly.

Good tires are harder to find now though.

15” is much better for availability.

As long as I can get it kinda flush, I'm good. I was hoping for a response like this one, thanks
