Default 1995 Honda Odyssey JDM

I got this car for my wife to deliver mail in and need to get it back to a good working order. Being a 1995 and a JDM this has led to some headaches and I was hoping someone here could help.
My mechanic recently had to replace my distributor but now it is giving a TDC sensor code. I tried disconnecting the battery to see if it just needed a reset with no luck. What would be my next step. Do I need to replace the sensor(finding conflicting info if the sensor is in the distributor or external). I have also seen info it might be the ECU. If this is the case do I need to find a JDM one. Or is the problem something about the distributor not being a JDM.

The TDC sensor is in the distributor. Try another distributor if it was working before. Without TDC it won't fire spark either.

Hopefully you didn't throw away the oem distributor. Aftermarket are pretty garbage.
